The ‘Taste of the Peak District’ Red Lion Restaurant at Peak Edge Hotel

We had the privilege of welcoming over 180 people to our sister hotel, Casa in the centre of Chesterfield to celebrate the county’s top visitor economy businesses which gathered for a glittering ceremony to discover who would be named best of the best at the 2023 Peak District & Derbyshire Tourism Awards.

These awards are designed to showcase the excellence and outstanding accomplishments across our diverse tourism and hospitality sector. Our 2**AA Rosette Red Lion Restaurant at Peak Edge Hotel was crowned winner with a “Gold Award for The Taste of Peak District and Derbyshire” and a Silver Award for “Hotel of the Year”.

We will now have the opportunity to represent the Peak District and Derbyshire in the National Visit England Awards for Excellence 2023 competition.
