Venue Information

What is the maximum number of guests that you can accommodate?

Oak Room

Our Oak Room is our largest event space, accommodating up to 200 guests comfortably. An ideal setting for larger wedding celebrations, featuring elegant details and a spacious layout.

Walton Suite

Our Walton Suite offers a more intimate atmosphere, accommodating up to 100 guests. It’s the perfect choice for smaller weddings, rehearsal dinners or even a romantic ceremony with your closest friends and family.

How many guests can join us for the wedding breakfast?

For your wedding breakfast, our Oak Room can comfortably accommodate up to 170 guests, making it an excellent choice for larger celebrations where you can share your special day with many loved ones.

If you’re planning a more intimate gathering, our Walton Suite provides a welcoming and elegant setting for up to 70 guests, perfect for a close-knit wedding breakfast with your nearest and dearest.

How many hours does the venue rental include?

Venue hire is available from 6:00 AM until midnight. Should you wish to extend your celebrations, a late licence is available until 1:00 AM for an additional fee. For further information or to make arrangements, please contact our Weddings Team.

Can we book the venue at any time of year?

Our venue is available for weddings and events all year round. With flexible indoor and outdoor spaces, we offer the perfect setting for every season – whether you’re dreaming of a fresh spring ceremony or a beautifully crisp autumn gathering, we have the ideal backdrop for your magical day.

Do we have exclusive use of the venue on the day of our wedding?

While we do not offer full exclusivity of the entire hotel and restaurant, please be assured that no other weddings will be hosted on the same day as your celebration.

Our priority is to provide you and your guests with a dedicated and seamless experience, ensuring your special day feels exclusive and unforgettable, even as other hotel and restaurant guests enjoy their stay.

Do you allow helicopter arrivals?

We are pleased to offer on-site helicopter landing facilities for our guests.

Does your venue accommodate both the wedding ceremony and reception?

Yes, you can celebrate both your ceremony and reception at our venue. We’re fully licensed to host every moment of your special day, and we provide a breath-taking setting where your love story can unfold from the first “I do” to the last dance. Imagine exchanging vows at our beautiful pagoda, then moving effortlessly into the Oak Room for a joyful celebration – all surrounded by the people who mean the most to you, in one unforgettable location.

Do you offer a choice of ceremony spaces?

Ceremonies can be held in the Oak Room, Walton Suite or our picturesque Pagoda, each offering their own distinct charm and atmosphere. Whether you prefer the grandeur of an indoor setting or the romance of an outdoor ceremony, every space provides a unique and beautiful backdrop to mark the beginning of your special day.

Do you offer both indoor and outdoor ceremony options?

Yes, we offer beautiful options for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. Whether you envision saying your vows beneath the open sky or within the elegant surroundings of our Oak Room or Walton Suite, we have the perfect setting to suit your style and the season.

What provisions are made for outdoor ceremonies in case of poor weather conditions?

Yes, we have a contingency plan in place should the weather be unfavourable. In the event of rain or poor conditions, your ceremony will be seamlessly relocated to our elegant Oak Room, ensuring a smooth transition and a comfortable, beautiful experience for you and your guests.

Is there an option to extend the rental time, and how much does it cost?

Yes, you can extend the venue rental until 1:00 AM for an additional fee of £350.

Can you accommodate catering in-house?

Every love story is unique – your wedding menu should be no exception. We believe your special day deserves a dining experience as personal and meaningful as the vows you share. Our bespoke wedding menus are thoughtfully crafted to reflect your individual tastes, honour your cultural traditions and accommodate any dietary requirements. Collaborate with our Group Head Chef to create a beautifully curated menu that perfectly complements the essence of your celebration – a truly memorable experience, made with love.

Can we hire an outside catering service?

To ensure the highest standards of quality and service on your special day, we kindly request that all food and beverages are provided exclusively by our in-house catering team. Our skilled chefs are passionate about crafting bespoke menus tailored to your individual tastes, cultural traditions and dietary requirements.

By entrusting your catering to our dedicated team, you can relax knowing that every detail, from meticulous preparation to elegant presentation, will be handled with the utmost care, professionalism and exceptional attention to detail.

Is there a food and beverage minimum spend?

Does the venue hold a valid alcohol licence?

Yes, our venue holds a valid alcohol licence, enabling us to serve a wide selection of beverages throughout your celebrations in full compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Can we provide our own alcohol?

To ensure full compliance with licensing regulations and to provide a seamless service, we kindly request that all alcoholic beverages be supplied and served exclusively by our in-house team.

We offer a carefully curated selection of wines, spirits, and premium beers, thoughtfully chosen to complement your celebration. Our experienced bar staff will ensure that your guests are attentively cared for throughout the day, allowing you to relax and savour every moment of your special occasion.

Suppliers & Entertainment

Is it possible to hire suppliers of our choice?

Yes, we kindly request that you inform your wedding co-ordinator of any suppliers attending your special day during your final planning appointment. This enables us to liaise with them as necessary and helps ensure that everything runs seamlessly from start to finish.

Can you share your preferred supplier recommendations?

To help make your wedding planning as smooth and enjoyable as possible, we offer a curated list of preferred suppliers who have consistently delivered exceptional service at our venue. From talented florists and photographers to expert entertainers and décor specialists, our trusted partners are familiar with our spaces and dedicated to bringing your vision to life.

Do you provide a sound system, or should we arrange our own?

Yes, the venue is equipped with a high-quality on-site sound system for your convenience.

Are live bands and DJs permitted to perform at your venue?

Yes, we kindly request that you inform your wedding co-ordinator of any external suppliers during your final planning appointment. This enables us to coordinate with them effectively and ensure your day runs seamlessly from start to finish.

Setup & Décor Information

Can you explain what is included in the Venue Hire?

When you hire our venue for your wedding, you’ll enjoy exclusive use of either the Oak Room or Walton Suite. Your hire includes access to a private bar, dedicated terrace area and private bathrooms, ensuring comfort and convenience for you and your guests.

If you choose the Oak Room, you’ll also benefit from access to the surrounding grounds, complete with stunning views and the option to hold your ceremony outdoors beneath our charming Pagoda.

To help you plan and enjoy your special day, our experienced Weddings Team will be by your side throughout, with a Master of Ceremonies on hand during the event to ensure everything runs seamlessly.

We provide all the essentials for your wedding breakfast and evening celebration, including tables, chairs, linen, napkins, cutlery and glassware. A cake stand and knife are also available, along with wooden easels for displaying your signage, allowing you to add your own personal touches with ease.

Can we rearrange or remove venue furniture?

No, we kindly ask that all venue furniture remains in its designated arrangement and is not moved or removed.

Is it possible to attach décor to the walls or ceilings within your venue?

We respectfully ask that no decorations be attached to the walls or ceilings, in order to preserve the integrity of our venue.

Do you allow confetti?

Only natural flower petals are permitted for use on the premises.

Does your venue team manage setup and post-event clearing?

If you choose to provide your own décor, you will be responsible for setting up the venue. Our team will take care of the clear-up at the end of the wedding and carefully place any items in our designated wedding storage area, ready for collection by 11am the following morning.

Suppliers are welcome to access the venue from 6am on the day of your wedding celebrations to dress the space or set up any items.

Logistics & Availability

Is there parking and EV charging points?

Is free parking available?
Complimentary parking is available to all hotel residents and guests. You may be asked to supply your car registration details upon arrival for security purposes.

Is electric vehicle charge available?
There are 4 electric car charging pods for our guests to use on a first come first serve basis. If you wish to use these during your stay, ahead of your arrival you’ll need to download the Pod-Point app and follow the instructions to connect.

Is your venue fully accessible for wheelchair users?

Yes, our venue is fully accessible and thoughtfully equipped to ensure all guests are accommodated comfortably and with ease.

Is Wi-Fi available throughout your venue?

Yes, we offer complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the venue.

What time is check-out?

Our check-out service runs until 11am daily.

Accommodation

Do you provide preparation rooms for the wedding party?

Yes, we offer a selection of suites perfectly suited for your wedding party to get ready on the morning of your big day. To ensure a smooth and well-coordinated start, we kindly ask that these suites are booked for the night prior to your celebration.

Do you have on-site accommodations for guests?

Yes, the hotel offers 27 beautifully appointed bedrooms, ranging from our stylish Superior Rooms to our exquisite Luxury Suites. We invite you to explore our collection and find the perfect accommodation to complement your stay.

All bedrooms are offered at the best available rate and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Are pets allowed on-site for the ceremony?

We’re delighted to welcome your pets to attend your ceremony and be part of your special day. To help ensure everything runs smoothly, we recommend arranging a professional pet-sitting service to care for them throughout the event. This way, you and your guests can fully enjoy the celebration with peace of mind.

Are drones allowed for videography?

We’re pleased to permit the use of drones for wedding videography, allowing you to capture stunning aerial footage of your special day. To ensure safety and compliance with regulations, we ask that your drone operator holds the appropriate licence and insurance and liaises with your wedding co-ordinator ahead of time.

How much is the deposit and when is it due?

To secure your wedding date with us, a deposit of 10% of your wedding quotation is required at the time of booking, along with your signed contract.
