Tell us a little about your role, what does your typical day to day look like?
As Maintenance Manager, I prioritise safety by conducting daily safety checks and ensuring all health and fire regulations are strictly followed. I respond promptly to any maintenance requests reported by guests or staff, managing repairs efficiently to maintain a safe and comfortable environment. I also lead improvement projects, such as upgrading hotel facilities and refurbishing bathrooms, to enhance the overall guest experience and operational efficiency.

One of my proudest achievements has been significantly improving the hotel’s standards across all departments. By implementing rigorous quality controls, enhancing staff training, and overseeing key refurbishment projects, I helped elevate the guest experience to new heights. These improvements not only boosted guest satisfaction and positive reviews but also strengthened the hotel’s reputation for excellence and attention to detail.
