- What time is check-in?

Our check-in service is available from 3pm daily.
- Can I request special touches to my room?

We offer a range of bedroom enhancements for an additional charge to make your stay extra special. From fresh rose petals to welcome you, to a chilled bottle of our house Champagne to enjoy on arrival, we have everything you need for a relaxing and memorable stay.
These enhancements will be available upon making the reservation or guests can add these by contacting our reception team via sleep@peakedgehotel.co.uk.
- Is free parking available?

Complimentary parking is available for all hotel residents and guests. For security purposes, you may be asked to provide your car registration detail upon arrival.
- Is electric vehicle charging available?

There are 4 electric car charging pods for our guests to use on a first come first serve basis. If you wish to use these during your stay, ahead of your arrival you’ll need to download the Pod-Point app and follow the instructions to connect.
- Is the Peak Edge Hotel dog-friendly?

We have designated dog-friendly bedrooms available to book in advance. Take a look at our dog policy or contact Guest Services for more information.
- Does my room come with a safe?

Each of our rooms includes a safe, conveniently located in the wardrobe, for storing your valuables. While you can rest assured that you’re in safe hands during your stay, we recommend locking your room when you leave and keeping your key secure at all times.
- What is the cancellation policy for your bedrooms?

Cancellation terms for your hotel reservation depend on the booking option you selected. Please refer to your booking confirmation for full terms and conditions.
- Do you allow helicopter arrivals?

We are pleased to offer on-site helicopter landing facilities for our guests.

During your stay
- What is the Emergency and Fire procedure?

Your safety is our priority. Please familiarise yourself with the notice on the back of your door and take a moment to locate your nearest exits.
If you discover a fire, raise the alarm by activating one of the break glass alarm points which are located next to each emergency door, then notify reception.
If you hear a fire alarm, leave your room immediately using the nearest accessible exit and proceed to the assembly point indicated on the diagram located on the back of your door.
• Close the door of your room
• Do not stop to collect any personal belongings
• Do not shout or run – this only causes panic
• Do not use the lift
• Do not re-enter the building until advised it is safe to do so by the fire marshal. Please study the above carefully and ensure that you know what do to in the event of an emergency. - Can I smoke?

Peak Edge is a non-smoking hotel. If you wish to smoke, please use the designated outdoor smoking areas. Smoking in your room will incur a non-refundable £250 penalty to cover deep cleaning, so we kindly ask that you refrain from doing so.
- Do we offer laundry services?

For guests staying with us for longer periods, we offer a laundry service. Please place your laundry and dry cleaning, along with the price list found on the desk, into the bags provided by reception. Items should be returned to reception by 3 pm and will be ready for collection by 5 pm the following day.

- Do you offer vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options?

Yes, all our dishes are freshly prepared and cooked to order. Please inform a member of our team if you have any specific dietary requirements, intolerances, or allergies. Some dishes can be adapted to suit your needs; however, we regret that we cannot guarantee our dishes are completely nut-free.
- Is the Red Lion Restaurant dog-friendly?

Dogs are welcome in the bar areas of the Red Lion. We have a jar of treats on the bar and can supply water bowls on request.
- Do I need make reservation?

- How often do you update your menu?

Our check-out service runs until 11am daily.
Weddings, Occasions and Events
- If I book a wedding, do I get bedrooms automatically?
-
As a small boutique hotel with just 27 bedrooms and a busy restaurant, we’re unable to allocate all rooms for every wedding booking. If you book the hotel on a exclusive use basis, all bedrooms can be guaranteed. Otherwise, rooms are offered on a first come first served basis at the available rate. - Do you sort out the registrar for us?

You will need to arrange your own registrar. We suggest contacting Chesterfield Registry Office on 01629 533110 or email on chesterfield.registrars@derbyshire.gov.uk to discuss dates, times, and fees once you’ve reserved a provisional date with us. For the best flow to your day, we recommend scheduling the ceremony between 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm.
