Tell us a little about your role, what does your typical day to day look like?
As a Restaurant Supervisor, I’m responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring both staff and guests have a smooth and enjoyable experience. I lead and support the front-of-house team, manage shift schedules, handle guest feedback and make sure service runs efficiently and to a high standard.
How long have you worked for Peak Edge?
Quite a while now, I started in 2012!

What’s your favourite part of the job?
For me, the best part of working in a restaurant is the guest interaction. I really enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life, making them feel welcome and knowing that I’ve played a part in making their dining experience memorable. It’s rewarding to see guests leave happy, whether that’s because of a friendly chat, prompt service or helping to resolve any issues quickly.
What’s your favourite item on the Red Lion menu?
I absolutely love fillet steak; it’s always my top choice whenever I’m dining here at Peak Edge.
Name your biggest achievement whilst working at Peak Edge
I’ve worked my way up since I started in 2012. Recently I have taken a step back due to maternity leave but I’m happy with my current level of responsibility and how I can support the team going forward.
Just out of curiosity… what’s your favourite biscuit?
I love any fruit biscuits.
